Fuel Friday: Advent

Christmas season is almost upon us, which means it’s time to start looking at advent materials! My family hasn’t done advent calendars since my brothers and I were little, but we transitioned into books.

These three books take about ten minutes to read each night and include instructions for lighting the Advent candles, devotions, and a fictional account from the perspectives of the shepherds in the fields. The stories of these three children are intertwined and provide entertainment and insight for the whole family.

This is our family’s newest find, and it continues past Christmas through the end of December. The wisdom of the late Dr. Adrian Rogers paired with Christmas…what more could you ask for?
