I borrowed this #fridayintroductions idea from my friend @candiceyamnitz over on Instagram (you can find my Insta at the link at the bottom of the page). Feel free to use it for your own content!

Hi, I’m Abrigail, but you can call me Abby! I’m a Christian writer with waaaaayyyyyyy too many hobbies. I started college later than most and just finished my freshman year at 22.
I really don’t remember a time when I didn’t write. I was always journaling or writing a story or article for my imaginary magazine growing up. Writing novels was a natural extension of my love of writing, but it definitely had a particular purpose: I wrote what I wanted to read.
That purpose changed over time, but where I’ve landed is writing Christian stories that deal with real issues in a tasteful way and, in the case of my current series, writing YA fiction WITHOUT romance. Not that I don’t enjoy a good romance, but it’s hard to find good fiction without it anymore, and I still find myself wishing to read something of substance without it. So, in a way, I suppose I am still writing what I wanted to read as a teen.
“Lonely,” my finished novel, is a modern YA tragedy filled with Christian values, poetry, sweet friendship, and despicable villains. It isn’t available yet, but you can follow this space for updates on writing the sequel, or get a sneak peek at the characters in short stories! (Such as We Could’ve Grown Old Together.)
