About the Author

Abrigail Julian is a young author and musician with a passion for truth and teaching. She has been writing both fiction and nonfiction for as long as she can remember. When she came to Christ as a child, Abby began a journey toward holiness (not perfection) and longs to love Jesus Christ with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Abrigail is a freelancing musician in her hometown and enjoys playing in church when she gets the chance. Besides writing and music, Abby loves teaching, organizing, and playing with preschoolers.

About the Blog

Abby’s goal in starting her blog is to share the truths of the Bible with teens and young women. She runs three columns: Topics of Tuesday, Writerhood Wednesday, and Fuel Friday.

Topics of Tuesday is a bit of a wild card. There you can find everything from theology and worldview to relationships and lifestyle, all stemming from a biblical worldview.

Writerhood Wednesday runs every other week and focuses on writing craft related topics. This column is great for young writers and writers who want writing advice from a Christian perspective.

Fuel Friday is your source of inspiration to get you through the last day of the work week and spur you into the weekend. Sometimes you’ll find a quote or challenge, or perhaps a funny writing joke. Abrigail has also been known to put her poetry there just for fun.

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is true, beginning to end. We believe that God inspired men to write the Bible over the course of history and that His word is complete, not to be added to or taken away from. We believe that those who do add or take away from His word will be punished by God (Rev. 22:18).

We believe that God created the world in seven days, perfect and complete. We believe that mankind disobeyed God through the temptation of the serpent and is now under a curse (Gen. 3). We believe that we can do nothing to redeem ourselves. We believe that sin is disobedience to God and His Word.

We believe that God is Holy, just, and loving, and that these traits are complimentary, not contradictory. We believe that because God is holy, He must judge sin, and that the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). We believe that because God is loving, He sent Jesus His Son, the second Person of the Godhead, to live a perfect life and die on a cross for the sins of humanity as our perfect substitute. We believe that in doing so, Jesus Christ took God’s wrath on Himself for us.

We believe that Jesus was dead in the grave for three days and was resurrected, never to die again. We believe that He ascended to the right hand of God the Father, where He will remain until His second coming in which He will judge the world according to His law. We believe that those found guilty will be eternally punished in a place called Hell, and only those covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ will be saved.

We believe that salvation is a free gift, but that it also costs us everything. We believe that in order to be saved we must repent from our sin and turn to follow Christ in righteousness and the pursuit of holiness. We believe that we are not saved by works, but that good works are evidence of our salvation (Jas. 2:14-26).

We believe that our purpose on earth is to glorify and obey God, strive to please Him, and be conformed to the image of His Son (Rom. 8:29). We believe that biblical evangelism, that is, the sharing of the Gospel, is a God-given mandate that is to be carried out by all Christians, and that theology and doctrine are important for this task.

We believe that this is the essence of the Christian faith, aside from which no one can be saved (Jn. 14:6).
